One Day Itinerary to Explore Mui Ne - Phan Thiet by Bus

DISCOVER MUI NE PHAN THIET BY BUS - A NEW EXPERIENCE FOR TOURISTS

Morning: Discover the Cultural and Natural Beauty of Mui Ne

6:00 - 7:00 AM: Start the journey from Phan Thiet

• Departure: From Phan Thiet Bus Station or bus stop near your accommodation in central Phan Thiet.

• Transportation : Take bus route number 01 (Phan Thiet – Mui Ne – Hon Rom).

• Objective: Move to Mui Ne area to start exploring.

7:00 - 8:30 AM : Welcome the sunrise and the rhythm of life in Mui Ne Fishing Village

• Destination : Mui Ne Fishing Village (on Huynh Thuc Khang Street).

• Activities: Get off the bus at Fishing Village. This is when the fishing village is at its busiest with boats docking, fishermen unloading fish and selling fresh seafood. You can walk around, take pictures, breathe in the fresh sea air and if you want, enjoy a fresh seafood breakfast right here.

• Note: If you want to buy seafood as a gift, prepare a cooler bag.

8:30 - 10:00 AM: Experience the Flying Sand Dunes (Pink Dunes)

• Destination : Flying Sand Dunes (Pink Dunes), near Mui Ne Fishing Village.

• Activities : Walk across the road from Fishing Village. The Flying Sand Dunes are famous for their gentle sand slopes, the color of which changes with the sunlight. You can rent a board to sandboard (about 20,000 - 30,000 VND/board), take photos and check-in with the unique desert scenery.

• Note : Early morning is the ideal time to visit the sand dunes because the sun is not too harsh.

10:00 - 11:30 AM: Relax at Suoi Tien

• Destination: Suoi Tien (near Sand Dunes).

• Activities: From the Flying Sand Dunes, you can take a short walk or catch a motorbike taxi if you don’t want to walk to the entrance of Suoi Tien. Take off your shoes and walk barefoot in the cool stream, admiring the stalactites and majestic red-orange sand dunes on both sides of the bank. This is a relaxing and unique experience.

• Note : The stream water is quite shallow and safe, but be careful of the sections with small rocks.

Noon: Rest and Travel

11:30 - 13:00 Afternoon: Lunch and rest

• Destination: Restaurants and eateries along Nguyen Dinh Chieu or Huynh Thuc Khang streets (Mui Ne).

• Activities: After a morning of exploring, you can easily find a variety of lunch options from local dishes to fresh seafood.

• Access: These restaurants are located right on bus route 01.

Afternoon: Explore White Sand Dunes or Return to Center

Option 1: Continue exploring White Sand Dunes (Bau Trang - Bau Sen)

• 13:00 - 14:00 Afternoon: Move to Bau Trang

- Transportation: Continue taking bus route number 01 towards Hon Rom. This route will pass through the beautiful Vo Nguyen Giap street.

- Travel time : About 30-45 minutes from Mui Ne center.

• 14:00 - 16:30 Afternoon: Explore Bau Trang - Bau Sen

- Destination: Bau Trang - Bau Sen.

- Activities : Get off the bus at the stop near Bau Trang. From here, you can rent a jeep or an ATV to explore the vast white sand dunes and two freshwater lakes. Take photos and experience the thrill of sand.

• Note : This area is quite large,ATV rentalwill help you discover more.

Option 2: Return to Phan Thiet center and visit Poshanu Cham Tower

If you don't want to go too far to Bau Trang or want to spend time in the center of Phan Thiet:

• 13:00 - 14:00 Afternoon: Move to Poshanu Cham Tower

- Means of transport: Take bus route number 01 in the opposite direction (to Phan Thiet).

- Destination: Poshanu Cham Tower.

- Activities : Visit ancient Cham architecture, learn about history and culture. See the whole view of Phan Thiet from the hill.

• 14:00 - 17:00 Afternoon: Free to explore Phan Thiet center

- Activities : You can walk around the central area, visit Phan Thiet market to shop for specialties, or relax at a cafe along the Ca Ty river.

Evening: End of tour

17:00 - 18:00 Afternoon: Return to starting point

• Transportation: Take Bus Route 01 (if you are in Mui Ne/Bau Trang) or other bus routes (if you are in the center of Phan Thiet) to return to your accommodation or bus station.

• Note : Check the last bus operating time to avoid missing the trip.

18:00 Evening onwards: Dinner and rest

• Enjoy dinner with Phan Thiet specialties such as banh can, mai fish salad, grilled squid teeth, or fresh seafood.
